Welcome to Camp Northwoods, Skidmore’s summer day camp for children entering grades 1 through 8. 

The program, led by Director Peter Carner, draws on the rich 和 varied resources of Skidmore College 和 the surrounding area. The camp's home base is Falstaff's Pavilion on the Skidmore College campus, but campers frequent the Williamson Sports Center,  Schick Art Gallery, Tang Teaching Museum 和 Art Gallery, Zankel Music Center 和 Skidmore’s North Woods. Campers must be entering first grade 和 be 6 years old by December 1, 2024.

Daily enrichment activities are led by the qualified staff 和 supplemented with weekly field trips to recreational 和 historical sites 和 visits by special guests. Children also enjoy activities that include recreation, arts 和 crafts, nature, games, journaling, hiking 和 daily swim time. Our goal is to provide a variety of fun activities that happily challenge the imagination, intellect 和 body.
